About Aden Fashion

Fashion education should not require relocation to a fashion capital or enrollment in an inaccessible full-time program. Aden Fashion Ltd exists so that an emerging student, an independent designer, or a boutique label can master technical precision, cultivate an intentional visual identity, and translate an abstract sketch into a production-ready garment through focused, university-level guidance.

Established in London in 2021, the studio pairs rigorous doctoral textile research with years of higher-education design pedagogy. We bridge the gap between creative ideation and industrial viability—providing hands-on mentorship across Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, bespoke styling direction, pattern and block development, and strategic production sourcing. Every collaboration is driven by a singular purpose: ensuring that design decisions are deliberate, technically sound, and constructed to be worn with confidence.

Good design training is a matter of access, not geography.”

Esra Secim

PhD, Textile Design — Gazi University

Esra founded Aden Fashion Ltd in 2021 after five years lecturing in fashion design at Atılım University in Ankara, building on a PhD in Textile Design and a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design. Her practice sits between the classroom and the studio: research-led, detail-focused, and just as comfortable explaining a construction problem as solving one.Today she teaches online drawing lessons, advises on styling and develops patterns for clients, while continuing to mentor students as a volunteer teaching assistant at Richmond Upon Thames College. She works fluently across Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and digital pattern tools, and represents the studio at fashion and textile trade fairs and industry events throughout the year.
