Esra founded Aden Fashion Ltd in 2021 after five years lecturing in fashion design at Atılım University in Ankara, building on a PhD in Textile Design and a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design. Her practice sits between the classroom and the studio: research-led, detail-focused, and just as comfortable explaining a construction problem as solving one.Today she teaches online drawing lessons, advises on styling and develops patterns for clients, while continuing to mentor students as a volunteer teaching assistant at Richmond Upon Thames College. She works fluently across Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and digital pattern tools, and represents the studio at fashion and textile trade fairs and industry events throughout the year.
